Our Squirrel – An exciting programme of activities for 0-6 year-olds!

This Autumn we invite creches, preschools & junior infant classes to share with us their mini masterpiece interpretations of the famous Longford squirrel. All of the creations will be placed on display in the Atrium Gallery as part of a special exhibition.

Mothers and babies are welcome to sit together with Cliodhna Noonan for a special squirrel story-time and sing-song, surrounded by the amazing artwork of the youngest citizens of Longford.

At 10:45 & 11:30 we have an Art Session with a Difference. We are inviting two lucky early years groups to book an art session with a difference at Backstage. Artist and sculptor Akvile Simanskiene will create a giant cardboard squirrel but we need help to decorate it and create a unique installation for our festival.
(For 3-6 years.)
