Longford Variety Group: A child in a white shirt and brown vest stands beside an adult performer on a dimly lit stage. The adult, wearing an orange coat, layered necklaces, and a colorful skirt, kneels and points dramatically into the distance while speaking or singing. Stage lighting highlights the performers against a dark background, with a covered table visible behind them.

Running from 18th–21st November 2026 at Backstage Theatre, Longford, with nightly performances at 7.30pm and a special Saturday matinee on 21st November at 2.30pm, Music and Memories – The Soundtrack to Our Lives promises an uplifting journey through the songs, moments, and memories that defined a generation and helped shape our lives.

Co-directed by Charlie Murray and Kevin Hussey, choreography by the amazing Chloe Brady, this year’s production will showcase outstanding local talent, dazzling dance routines, comedy, and iconic music from across the decades.

Audiences can look forward to a spectacular line-up featuring family favourites including Beauty and the Beast, The Jungle Book, an energetic 80s Megamix, performances from the incredible Peelo School of Dance, and special guest appearances from Aisling O’Reilly, Peter Costello, and Ryan O’Connor.

As always, Longford Variety Group continues its proud tradition of providing entertainment by the community, for the community, while supporting important local causes.

All proceeds will go towards supporting local schools and charities.

Join us this November as we celebrate the music, the moments, and the memories that have become the soundtrack to our lives.
