An bhfuil tú cinnte?
Seoirse has been pretending to be a spirit medium. But when he actually makes contact with the other side, he’s forced to confront what he has done.
Debuted as part of a hit run in the Dublin Fringe Festival, where it was nominated for the Bewley’s Café Theatre’s Little Gem Award, Anonn is a bi-lingual one-man show tackling themes of grief, loss, and the macabre, all from the safety of a salt circle. Vulnerable, funny, and horrifying, this play asks: even if we could speak to the other side, would we be able to say anything at all?
Anonn | The Other Side was first developed as part of Scene and Heard 2025. It had its first full run as part of Dublin Fringe Festival that same year, from the 7th – 14th of September in Smock Alley Boys’ School. It was nominated for the ‘Bewley’s Café Theatre Little Gem Award’. It was then performed as part of the Lasta Festival in the Town Hall Studio, Galway.
