Freebird’s MCC Project
Together with artist Brigid Mulligan, members of The Freebird’s MCC Motorcycle Club from Longford have been awarded the project realisation award by Create & the Arts Council to support a year-long project co-creating work in film, archive and sculpture based on the shared histories of the club members.
The collaboration involves a cross-sharing of skills in various art forms. The work will culminate in an archival exhibition with photographs, club memorabilia and a film. The film, co-created by the club, explores the story of the Freebird’s MCC and the members’ personal perspectives on life and grief.
