Celebrating African cultures and local community contribution
A family-friendly community event in association with Longford County Council and the Longford Africans Network bringing together people from across County Longford to celebrate the richness, diversity and vibrancy of African cultures through music, food, entertainment and community engagement.
Featuring a live performance by Yankari, the acclaimed 13-piece African fusion music group whose energetic performances blend traditional African rhythms with contemporary musical influences. The event will also feature African cuisine representing various countries, children’s entertainment, cultural displays, interactive activities for all ages as well as an awards presentation recognising community contribution.
A welcoming, non-profit and family-focused occasion with a strong emphasis on participation, cultural exchange and community spirit.
Members of the public are warmly invited to attend and enjoy an afternoon of music, food, celebration and shared community experience.

Don’t worry if you or any of your party are unable to attend a performance. If you contact our Box Office team on 043 3347888 no later than 4pm two days before the show*, you can exchange your tickets for another performance or ask for a credit voucher (which does not expire).
*Must be two working days. Box Office hours: Mon-Fri (10am to 5pm)
Please note: No refunds/exchanges can be offered on the day of a performance or after a show has taken place.
If we need to cancel or postpone a show, our team will be in touch to let you know and offer you a refund or exchange.
