This year we are thrilled to welcome Jan Carson as our Yours Sincerely writer in residence. In this exciting project from The LIVE Network, this renowned author correspond with a group in the community through letter writing over a period of six weeks. Jan will pen letters to a group of correspondents from mid-September to the end of October. There will be a virtual cup of tea at the end of the six weeks for the group and the author to chat.
Yours Sincerely 2024 follows on the great success of previous project with Sophie White, Patrick DeWitt & Louise O’Neill. All letters from Jan remain within the group and participants are welcome to write back to the author (correspondence will be confidential.)
The experience is an opportunity to connect with others in your community and with a writer, in a personal way. The project has become known for its intimacy and humour; a unique opportunity to receive a written letter through the post from the hands of a respected artist.

collections and two micro-fiction collections. Her novel The Fire Starters won the EU Prize
for Literature for Ireland 2019. Jan’s latest novel, The Raptures was published by Doubleday
in early 2022 and was subsequently shortlisted for the An Post Irish Novel of the Year and
Kerry Group Novel of the Year. Her short story collection Quickly, While They Still Have
Horses was published by Doubleday in April 2024.

Don’t worry if you or any of your party are unable to attend a performance. If you contact our Box Office team on 043 3347888 no later than 4pm two days before the show*, you can exchange your tickets for another performance or ask for a credit voucher (which does not expire).
*Must be two working days. Box Office hours: Mon-Fri (10am to 5pm)
Please note: No refunds/exchanges can be offered on the day of a performance or after a show has taken place.
